The Shop

Originally established in 2012 as Friends on the Square by the Odling family, Friends has long been a place where the Elkhorn community gathers over great coffee, good conversation, and a welcoming atmosphere.
In 2026, longtime customer and former employee David Redford stepped in as owner, preserving what people loved and thoughtfully building for the future — handcrafted coffee and espresso, seasonal specialty drinks, fresh bakery, breakfast and lunch favorites, and locally loved Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream.
Whether you're grabbing your morning coffee, meeting a friend, or simply taking a break from your day, we hope you feel welcome the moment you walk through our doors.
